Ingersoll Park

Circle Garden

The Ingersoll Park Circle Garden was created over a decade ago by neighbor Mark Kane and a dedicated group of hardworking neighbors.  Over the years, the garden has boasted a wide variety of Iowa native flowers, plants, grasses and perennials. The garden takes many volunteers throughout the year to keep it weed-free, watered and looking beautiful! We'd love to have your help taking care of our gorgeous space!

Volunteer Opportunities

Spring: planting and mulching

Summer: watering and weeding

Fall: cutting down and clean up

There is plenty to do in the garden year round and we can always use more volunteers to help!  Sign up for the neighborhood newsletter for specific needs and dates,  Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates too!

Vision

The garden was created to be a beautiful community space for neighbors to enjoy!  Most neighborhood kids have climbed on the rock and played in the garden at some point in their childhood.  We want the garden to be a place Ingersoll Park can be proud to call ours.
